Who can join the PTCA?
Every parent, guardian and teacher of KMS is a member of the Parent Teacher Community Association.
What does the PTCA do?
§ Provides programs and activities for the KMS community.
§ Serve as a funding source for special programs and activities.
§ Meet with school officials to share concerns and ideas.
§ Information source regarding status of the Education budget for the Town of Killingly.
I want to get involved but I do not have a lot of extra time?
No problem. We appreciate the quality of time you give to help at an event or share your concerns at a meeting. There are many different opportunities that would fit into your schedule. If we all volunteer an hour here or there – it will make a difference in total. Please click on the PTCA registration form tab to the left and register to be a volunteer. Please visit our Meeting Schedule tab to view all the upcoming meetings.
How can I get involved?

Leadership Volunteer Opportunities
Each May the officers for PTCA are elected at the meeting. In addition to the officers there are chairs for standing committees of the PTCA.
Each fall we accept nominations of individuals interested in serving as a chairperson and coordinator for a specific area for the school year. If you would be interested in helping with a committee please fill out the registration form tab, or contact the PTCA Presidents at KMSPTCA@yahoo.com.
