Members of the Board of Education and district staff appreciate your interest in the board meetings and the business of the school system. Public understanding, participation and communication are vital to a successful educational environment for students in Killingly schools. You are encouraged to read the minutes of meetings and agendas on the website to anticipate agenda items of the next meeting to assist in your active particiation. The board welcomes your input. You are welcome to attend any BOE meeting. Ten minutes of each meeting is set aside for public comment. Please be aware that the board does not engage in dialogue about non-agenda items, but if the answer to a question can be given at the meeting it will be; otherwise the answer will be deferred. Those who wish to express an opinion on an issue before the board, but cannot attend a meeting, may write to the chairperson in care of the Board of Education, 369 Main Street, Danielson, CT 06239. Communications are distributed to all board members. All board members may be reached by email; their addresses are found under "member list". Each board member is committed to ensuring the children of our district are provided the best education possible for their success in our rapidly changing world.
