In order to check out books, students need to have their school I.D. cards. Students are strongly cautioned against checking out materials for "friends." Each student is responsible for all materials checked out on his/her card.

Books are loaned for four weeks; periodicals and videos are loaned overnight; interlibrary loans are for two weeks. Renewals are available unless someone has placed a reserve on the item. Students can check out a "reasonable" number of items, usually two books on any one topic. The total number of books is not limited.

Coming to the Library

Students may come to the library during the following times:

• Before school in the morning (The library opens at 7:15 A.M.)

• After school (The library usually closes at 3:30 P.M. unless otherwise announced)

• Between classes to return materials

• During your lunch period

• With a pass from a teacher who wants you to research for his/her class during that class period
