Welcome to the Goodyear Early Childhood Center web page. It is a delight to help you get to know our school and its many child and family program activities. I have been the administrator of our preschool for 19 years.  My time here has been filled with many cherished memories of the children, families, and staff that I have had the pleasure of getting to know.  The support that families and our Killingly community have given to our preschool has been outstanding

 

     Each year brings us a new group of wonderful young children ready and eager to enjoy their first school experience.  Families have many opportunities to be part of their child's educational program as well as  the ability to access our Family Resource Center lending library, parent workshops, and our School Readiness Advisory Committee. We also invite you to join us for literacy night, school and class events, and our Multi-Cultural Festival.  We are beginning the school year with a "get to know us" activity.  Our front bulletin board will be filled with staff pictures that you can try to match up with their baby pictures.  Entry forms will be available and the winners will be announced at our Open House on Thursday, September 17, 2009.  Please join us and take the opportunity to meet new families and see old friends.  A Child and Family bulletin board will be on display in October.
